    Hi,

    Is there much difference between
    Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHZ 3MB and Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHZ 4MB ?

This is about a Dell Studio 1535 Laptop I am about to purchase mainly for working with photoshop, autodesk, revit ...

And would ATI Radeon 3450HD be OK to work with?

I'd choose the former because in my opinion is a Penryn processor which is manufactured using 45nm technology so the battery life on your laptop will be greater, and the difference in performance between those two is very minimal.

Yeah, the Penryn would be a better choice since it has a lower TDP. The ATI card is also fine for what you plan on using your notebook for.

    T8100 and T7500 ?

Well, if they cost the same, go for the T8100 (Penryn)....

BTW, both have the same TDP, perform the same, and there is no 'major' difference in battery life, and heat/temps.

    Exactly what he said :D

    A 2.1GHz Penryn will out bench a 2.2GHz 65nm.

Didn't noticed the 1st processor you mentioned is on my T61 :p

Actually the T8100 is a good performer, it encodes fairly fast movies. If you're picky about every aspect on a new laptop get the Penryn T8100.

The T8100 is a great CPU, I have one too.
