I currently have an old "Yonah" T2500 2.0ghz, 667fsb.
I'm thinking about buying a new Toshiba R600 with the new "Penryn" SU9400 1.4ghz, 800fsb chip.
I'm wondering how do the 2 chips compare?
I know one is faster clocked and a full voltage chip. But I'm thinking maybe with the much new chipset and slightly quicker FSB, the performance won't be too different.
I'm especially interested in how the SU9400 performs in more processor heavy situations.
Thank you in advance for your opinions and experience.

SU9400 isn't really meant for heavy processor usage. It's pretty slow imo, but compared to an old Yonah (single core?) it would probably be equal or slightly slower.

The Yonah is dual core 2ghz.
If it is equal, I'm ok with it since the Yonah is good enough for everything at the moment.
But slower would be a problem.
Does anyone have any experience with these ultra low voltage chips?
And maybe Wprime or Super pi scores?
Thanks
