I was wondering if the su9400 was quick enough to do everyday tasks. If i plan on using my laptop for email, web browsing, watching movies, and office stuff, would it be ok? Im sure this is not all i will be doing with my laptop.. but its most likely what ill be doing frequently.

The SU9400 can do all that and more with little issues.
