I have a mac mini with 2x 256mb DDR2 667mhz Ram, but I have a spare 512mb pc2700 333mhz. What would be faster; keeping the current DDR2 ram or taking one 256mb away and replacing it with a 512mb 333mhz?

    Thanks

You cannot use your PC2700 memory in your mac mini which uses PC5300 since PC2700 is DDR while PC5300 is DDR2 and they are incompatible with each other.

I'll echo the previous statement since it seems I was beaten too it.
The two ram types are incompatable. If they were compatable then you may have seen a slight performance boost but they're not so stick with the 2 DDR2.
