I just picked up one of these and with the exception of the not so good wireless card Asus put in this laptop, it is a real nice inexpensive touchscreen PC! While I was upgrading the ram, I also swapped out the wireless card with an Intel Centrino 6205. I installed the latest Win8 drivers from Intel, but the driver will not start. I get the yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager. If I run Intel's diagostics, it gives me an error stating that the "Transport driver is not bound". Doing a Google search did not find any solution. My best guess is that the cards hardware is not compatible with the laptop in some way. I installed a Broadcom card from an older Dell laptop I had and it works fine. Can anybody shine some light on what that error means? The Qualicomm card that comes with the laptop has no range at all for the most part. Thanks in advance!
