Hi all! First post here...Hope to get some help!
First of all, I currently using a Fujitsu S6240, and I'm really impressed by the built in audio chip quality! My job involved audio, so basically I heard lots of audio stuffs, but the Realtek 262C in this baby is really convincing - playback sound quality wise (using good headphone), this is on par with my personal M-Audio FW-410, with the 16bit (CD MP3 etc) slightly better! It just sounds like hi-fi!
I'm thinking of upgrading to a better laptop, and narrow down to 2 choices - Fujitsu S6311 or Sony SZ38GP, both has almost identical spec, it's quite hard to choose as both as pros and cons! After checking the sony information, it has a different one - the Intel HD audio card in built instead. I'm quite concern about the sound quality, and the current one I have now really satisfied me!
So, my question is, is there any problem with the Sony SZ laptop? Sound quality, issues, whatever. I'll like to hear opinions from you guys! Does it sounds good to your ear? Any crackling sound, distorted sound? It'll be nice to hear feedbacks from actual usage.
By the way, I'm leaning towards Fujitsu because of the previous model sound quality - they have the same sound chip (don't dare to take the risk)! I haven't really got a chance to do side by side test. Just share what you have, and thank in advanced!
PS: if possible, can just give extra advices for choice between this 2? I know this is irrelevant to this section. It's ok if just stick to the topic. Thanks!
