I broke my the display on my G6-2228dx and ordered a 1080p lcd replacement for the 720p. At the time I was unaware you needed a different cable for it. I've already ordered 2 cables. One that was the wrong connection to the motherboard and another that had an extra connection on it I didn't have a way to plug in. If anyone has the answer I would greatly appreciate it, the thing has been sitting for 6 months. Thank you in advance!
