I pretty much know next to nothing about computers and im looking to buy a clevo p750zm soon .
I just wanted to know if it's upgradeable in the future ?
Will it be able to take advantage of the Skylake technology that I have read about ?

Not unless you put in a new motherboard (highly unlikely).

But RAM, HDD/SSD and O/S (think; DX12...) will be and depending on the configuration, the gpu may be as well.

If you need something today, Haswell or Broadwell is what you'll be stuck with for the next little while.

If you can wait for a Skylake platform (in as little as 5 weeks...), it will be worth the wait to have something current for the next few years.

Skylake will make hardly any difference for gaming... DDR4 RAM is the problem... increased latencies mean that Haswell was actually outperforming Skylake in gaming.. The real advantage from Skylake will be for M2 storage... PCIE storage will run faster with Skylake and you get Thunderbolt 3.1... You'll get DP1.3 however at least for me this is not a problem as Batman has HDMI 2.0 already... If all this isn't important for you, get the Batman... I'd personally wouldn't mind one however my AW is maxed out almost now (needs a 990M lol)...

You can upgrade CPU (socket compatible ones), GPU, RAM, Storage (hard drive, SSD, 2.5" or M.2 varieties), and even LCD's if you so desire. But I don't think Skylake really will benefit the ZM for gaming anyhow.
