This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     if i got a SSD to replace my hd right now.. i would have to reinstall windows and everything right?? would i have to get another validation of ms office, vista etc too???

    You're best bet is to image the drive using either Ghost or Acronis True Image. That should require no reinstallation of anything.

    Both utilities are available for around $50 (I think), but a trial version (15 days or so free) should be able to do what you need it to.
