Hi guys , hope someone could clarify some doubts I got on volt modding via pinmod. I need to know the following, how do I know which is the default voltage on my T9400 which the mod will be applied. Cause there are several multipliers by default each with it's default voltage.
Sometimes my T9400 starts with 1.225 and sometimes with 1.15 and I want to leave its voltage with 1.025 default so I don't need to use right mark cpu clock to change it's voltage.

Is that grid on reducing vcore to 0.2 tested by someone ?
Thanks so much for all your help !![]()

you do know that the pin mod might brick ur laptop... it is way safer to use RM clock and undervolt....
-
You sure about that, I heard it wouldn't post on bios that's all.

He means that you could break something by messing up or being a klutz, not by doing it correctly. If you put the loops of wire securely in the correct holes and are careful and cautious about the procedure there is really nothing that could go wrong. It is really all up to you. For me it took a few attempts to get the little loops of wire in the correct places. Also don't forget to double check your work.

Well the only problem is cause I will be doing VID4 mod , to reduce 0.2 volts, I was thinking on using a thing wire from an ide drive, but problem is when I'll place the cpu some wire will have to go in between the other pins as no to smash it. Any ideas

lol save urself the touble and undervolt using RM clock...

K I did the volt mod on vid4 and vid4 and it didn't affect voltage at all, I'm not sure if the cpu is running at 1.225. It booted and said things which are typicial about not getting enough voltage.. sometimes it didn't boot

you should not say that when you've not tried it yourself
Voltmod doesn't brick laptops....
I replayed here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=5956041&posted=1#post5956041 -
well so far its been a failure... we'll see if it works... unlike this method , RM clock is garunteed to work unless u have a core i series CPU.. which in this case , he doesn't..

RMclock is not working and Pin Mod won't work because the OP has an overheating problem. His CPU hits 100c underload which is not normal even for a CPU that run at stock voltage.

lol didn't know that... maybe he can try CPUgenie... it might work...
