    What kind of graphics card would i need to be able to play a 1080p HD video? whats the lowest one i need? is the intel intergrated good enough? will the intel 3000 graphics card do?

    Intel integrated is fine for 1080p playback. For CPU, an i3 should suffice as well though getting an i5 won't hurt.

    Yep, if you're just watching videos the integrated is just fine.

    you can play 1080p fine with Penryn CPUs, as well as most high-end Meroms (i.e. T7000+).

    that ^ on Intel video card.

    For video playback, the Intel HD3000 will be just fine.
