    Hi guys,

My local store is selling DDR2 ram off cheaply, even cheaper then online, so I want to get some.

I have a sony Vaio vgn315m. It currently has one stick of DDR2 PC3200, but the store only sells DDR2 PC4300. I know desktops accept higher speed ram and just run both sticks at the lowest common level, so will my laptop do the same?

Again, its one stick of DDR2 PC3200, and I want to put in one stick of DDR2 PC4300, just wondering if it'll work? (I know they'd both run at pc3200)

    Any advice....thanks.
