    how much better is the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7200 2.0GHz 4MB Cache 667MHz FSB
    than my single core 2ghz amd turion 64?

    Much faster, the C2D is approximately 20-40% faster on average. But this all depends on the applications you are running

    I've taken the only direct comparison which was photoshop with the same test, in this case it's much faster though, but you get the picture.

    A lot better. :)

    In general, the performance of the Core 2 Duo T7200 greatly exceeds that of Amd Turion64 2.0GHz.

    But for tasks such as internet browsing, you might not notice significant differences in performances.

    Any C2D processor will be better able to handle multitasking, compared to a Turion64.
