Hello people,
I've done a little reading regarding the use of software over-clocking via SetFSB. While attempting to find my PLL through trial and error as one tutorial here suggested (since all other means failed), my screen went all crazy and the laptop froze. A reboot fixed everything with apparently no damage, but I am curious: does the use of this tool do any permanent changes, or are they lost upon rebooting? I gave up on trying OCing and just want everything to be as it was before these attempts.
Thanks a lot in advance.![]()

You are always welcome to load defaults if you feel unsure, but chances are that if the system rebooted as normal and works as normal now, you most likely didn't inflict any sort of long term damage.
I haven't used this program myself, but I would think that any changes made are permanently implemented until otherwise altered. -
Thanks a lot Prostar. I'll reinstall the thing again, reset everything to defaults and reinstall.
