I was browsing through the dell (South Africa) website getting prices on a XPS 1530 and I noticed that it is actually cheaper to buy 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) of RAM than it is to upgrade from 1 GB (2x512mb) to 4 GB (2 x 2 GB).

I have a choice between Super Talent, Kingston and Corsair, as far as I can tell, they all CL5, the corsair has timings of 5-5-5-15. I can't find info on the others. I was wondering which ones I should choose, they all 2 GB modules rated at 667 MHz. As a matter of interest, can the XPS 1530 take DDR2-800? Is it worth it?

Secondly, will I be able to upgrade my CPU to the new 45mn penryn chips when they come out, they both Socket P but I read somewhere that they incompatible???
