    Hi everyone,

I have HP Compaq 6710b with 1GB 800MHz ram module. Recently I got another 2GB 667MHz module and my question is:
Will these two modules work together or not?
    or should I replace 1GB with 2GB?

    I'd appreciate any help
    Thanks

You can mix. Your RAM is already only running at 667Mhz as no Intel chipset supports 800Mhz RAM.

I second what the almight pp said.
Pretty much every intel chipset is limited to 667Mhz memory bandwidth.
So even if you ran a cpu-z test on your memory it would pick it up as pc6400, but the timings and clocks will be of pc5300 memory.
    The upgrade will work fine.
