I want to buy another 512mb of RAM for my Dell E1505 notebook, but I have no idea what SODIMM slots, pin #, etc. to buy!
Can somebody help me?

go to crucial.com and use the memory configurator. it'll tell you exactly what kind of ram you need. you can buy from them or some other place.

Its just a 200pin DDR2 PC4200/4300 or PC5300/5400 SODIMM. Most laptops have 2 slots and the e1505 is not an exception to this.
Any of these should work...

Crucial, Kingston, Corsair & OCZ are considered to be the most reliable/reputable brands. Most memories have lifetime warranties, so other manufacturers should be fine as long as the place you buy lets you return incompatible RAM. But as lku suggested most memory manufacturers have memory configurators online whre they list compatible memory. Look through there and buy similar spec'd RAM from a cheaper retailer than direct from the manufacturer. -
Thank you very much, sir.
Exactly what I needed.
Time to order!
