the 6860 as of now supports a maximum of 4gb of Pc5300 memory. You can install Pc6400 if you like, but it will automatically downclock to Pc5300 speeds.
You may like fast ram, but I think you like to know you have fast ram more ;)
I say this because if you have a 6860, with the slowest ddr2 Pc3200 memory, and another 6860 with the fastest timings on pc6400 memory, side by side, with all other components the same, you will not notice any difference in speed between the two. You will only see a speed difference in synthetic tests, which are very far off from real world use.

the 4gb of memory you have is fine, and upgrading the memory is very unnecessary.
