    1) Yes, it is compatible. It is PC5300 RAM, which is what the notebook takes. It is also the right type of RAM (200pin, not 240pin).
    2) NewEgg is awesome...you should read their ResellerRating report!

    I have not had personal experience with that brand, but I hear they are a good brand.
