Its been a while since I've done any kind of PC building so I don't know if FSB is all that important anymore, so I'm asking for your help.

I have a Lenovo T400 with a T9400 C2D that has 1066 MHz FSB. I want to max out the RAM. This laptop has to last me a while so I want to squeeze every ounce of power out of it. Should I get PC3-10600 or PC3-8500 RAM, or does it even matter?

Browsing newegg shows most of the ram listed has a CAS latency of 9, but a few are 7, is that a more important spec?

Thanks, the crucial site lists both PC3-10600 and PC3-8500, I am wondering if one is a better choice than the other performance wise.

The faster PC10600 memory would seem to be the better choice.
