I started new thread as no reply on last. I thought maybe it had gotten lost amidst the clutter and I really need an answer soon.

Does anyone know which one would fit my acer 5742G, Windows 7 64bit, i5 460m the best?
    or

Just to clarify, you can go with PC3-10600 otherwise known as DDR3 1333MHz but it will still downclock to PC3-8500 in your system because that's what your CPU's memory controller supports. Given this only buy the faster variant if you plan on moving the RAM to a different DDR3 laptop down the line or if the price is similar to PC3-8500.

The KVR1333D3S9/4G is actually cheaper. :) Not sure why, maybe it's because they have 100+ in stock.
