I am thinking of adding RAM for my laptop. It currently has 4gb but can go up to 8. I have read that sometimes there is a limit in the added RAM that the computer can actually use.
    - Is the additional RAM worth the money in term of speed and performance?
    - Where can I get it at a reasonable price?
    - Is Ebay a good place for that?
    - Is the RAM the same for all dv-7s?

    Thanks.

4GB is more than enough unless u use photoshop or some RAM intensive program... so don't waste ur cash.. unless u really need it... if u want to buy , u need to buy DDR2-800 RAM.. and buy it fast... the price is going up since manufacturers are switching to DDR3 RAM production...
