    Hello,

I have 1 GIG of ram in my Presario v5000. I wanted to upgrade to 2gig. I believe I have 2 sticks of 512mb at the moment.

Does anyone know what brand will work for me? Preferably, 2 x 1 gig sticks I would like.

I'm not sure what brands or speeds will work in this machine. It's relatively new.

    Thanks!

You will want DDR2667. Almost any brand will work.

Here is some ram from Tigerdirect.ca would this work, or is the speed to fast?
