    Hi.

Recently i've been getting warnings in vista saying that i have low memory and that i must close all my programs. This usually happens when i'm in a game e.g. tf2.
But the strange thing is.... i have only been having this problem recently and have not had this problem before.

The laptop specs are similar to the one in my sig:
    Sager NP2090
3GB ram, 2.0 ghz santa rosa, 8600gt 512gb and vista home premium

I have done antivirus, antispyware, registry fix, disc defrag, system restore,
So do you guys know what up? and if there is a way i can solve it.

How much RAM is your system reporting... the full 3gb, or something less? Maybe one of the modules is bad or seated poorly.

Would be nice to see a screenshot of the performance in the taskbar manager....

It would be nice if you can take a screenshot of how much memory TF2 is using compared to other processes.

It could depending on what your memory usage is. I'm using vista x86 with 4gb (so I effectively have ~3gb of RAM) and disabled my page file long ago... just like I did with XP. I have never had a out of memory error nor any other adverse effects from this modification. At the same time though I primarily use my laptop for notetaking and light gaming (the x3100 graphics BARELY handles HALO at reduced settings, so my options are quite limited).

It would be difficult to accidentally disable your page file, but as others have said, a screenshot of the performance tab of your task manager would be helpful.
