Greetings!! I am curious, between all the manufacturers and speeds of laptop RAM out there...

Which brand and speed is better?

I've heard that Corsair, Crucial, Kingston, and PNY are among the best, but I'm no expert on it. I've also heard that the best speed is PC5400. Any takes on this?

Also, as I've been researching laptop RAM, I've seen some website list the memory timings as well. Is the lowest numbers on these timings the most favorable?

    Thanks for any help!!

My personal favorite is Crucial, but any of those would be fine.

The RAM speed can only operate as fast as your motherboard supports. The current Napa platform supports up to 667 MHz.

Lower latencies are faster, but most of the sticks you're going to find will be pretty much the same.
