Hey all, I'm sure it has probably been posted before , but my Acer 5002 came stock with 512mb of RAM. While this is an ok amount of anything mundane, I would like the ability to multi-task a tad more, with more apps running.

My question is, what type of RAM do I need to buy for the Acer 5002?
I know how to install it, and that laptop memory installation is a bit tighter than desktop installation, so I just need to know if there is a specific type of RAM I need, and if not, could you give me a good suggestion for some quality RAM.

    Hello,

Your laptop is compatible with DDR PC3200 400mhz or DDR PC2700 333mhz

My next question would be, what would you guys recommend as a trusted supplier of laptop memory.

I've had enough experience with RAM to know value RAM is ****, but I'm not familiar with laptop memory like I am with desktop memory, so any suggestions?

Crucial, Kingston, Corsair, OCZ - all should be pretty reliable.
