    hi i want to get another 1gb ram to speed up my t61. Since i really don't know anything about computer related things, I need you guys help!!
    which ram do i have to buy to fit in my t61?
    and is it possible to put one more 1gb ram in my t61

    DIMM means Dual Inline Memory Module. You have one of them, so you have one stick of RAM in your notebook. I'm assuming that that means there is likely one slot free. So yes, you should be able to put another gig in. You should try to get the same type of RAM as you currently have so that they are compatible.

    You need DDR2-667 (PC5300/PC2-5300, same thing), 200-pin So-DIMM RAM. Check the RAM DEALS thread.

    A RAM upgrade would be very beneficial seeing you have Vista.
