Geil [$219.99] (2x 2GB) (PC2 6400) <-For use in the future. I understand the full 800mhz won't be used and it will be slowed down to 667mhz.

[[OR]]
OCZ [$160.99] (Same specs but cheaper) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227251
Just curious on if both brands are reliable or not and if there's a reason besides the companies pricing for the difference in price.

Go with the cheaper one they are probably made by the same companie(samsung) anyway.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't even know Samsung made RAM. Regardless even if they were both samsung parts why such a big price difference?
-
Heatspreader maybe one thing.
Also, look at apples they are higher then all other Windows systems for less specs its the name, features & other seemingly useless things. -
Yeah I don't think heat spreaders will even be worth it. If they are I'm more than willing to buy Geil but as of right now I don't see a point in my case. Thanks again Thomas for the quick replies and help.

Your welcome,
Also just sos ya know.
Samsung makes most RAM any way so, what your paying for really is brand names heatspreaders & tech support & warranty. -
RAM, which brand?
