    Hola, gentlemen.

Recently purchased a MBA. Lovin it. One thing that doesn't work though....
    RMClock doesn't "remember" settings.

    First of all; My specs
MacBook Air, rev C. (august 2009)
    2,13Ghz C2D
    2Gb RAM
    128GB SSD hd
    Nvidia Geforce 9400M
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Theese are the settings I see under "Profiles->CPU performance state editor".
    0 SuperLFM 6.0x 0.9250V
    1 Normal 6.0x 0.9250V
    2 Normal 7.0x 1.0250V
    3 Normal 8.0x 1.1250V
    4 IDA 9.0 1.2250V

    Ok. So what happens?

First of all, when I start up the program RMClock doensn't recognize the IDA at all - I don't even see it on the profiles/cpu performance state page. Neither does it show on the "Advanced CPU settings" page.

Ok - I restart the program.

Now it shows. And I can edit, and undervolt, and everything's working fine. But when I restart the system - it's all gone. And first time RMClock starts (at system startup), the IDA doesn't show.

Now I've been using RMClock for over a year, mixing and trixing. So I would say I know the program quite well.

Anyone got any ideas? I'd be happy to hear!

    Cheers

You see RM clock is a program designed to run on windows platform and not on the mac... and especially not on the extra windows partiion u have on the mac. So you can't run it without problems...

    Yeah I would figure....

"especially not on the extra windows partiion"
    Why would this matter?

Is there any other, similar, programs available?

For what it's worth, I never had a problem running RMClock on MBA 1.8Ghz 64GB SSD. (Windows XP partition, bootcamp)

If you install Windows through Bootcamp the laptop behaves like a normal Windows laptop.

Phil - Thanks for the input.

I've installed the x64. I'm now assuming that's what causes the problem...

Yes I think so too. Try one of the other apps.

Windows is still Windows, regardless of how your hard drive is partitioned. Keep in mind that not all processors support IDA.

Note that there is a special 64 bit driver. There's a link to it at the end of the first post of the Undervolting Guide.

Shroom: Hehe, is that a fact? ;) Okla, sounded... odd. But yeah mine is a C2D L9600 processor, which supports IDA.

John: Using the x64 driver already. Before RMClock didnt even start.
