    Hello all,
Ive searched the forums as best I can and havent really found anything to address the issue I'm currently having, so I figured I would post it and see if anyone else has an answer for it.

I have a Sager 9261 (D900c) running 2 drives in Raid 0. I added a 3rd hard drive for backup purposes and after formating the drive the Intel Matrix storage continuously shows a system event error for the drive. the only time it does not show this error is if I setup up the 3rd drive as a spare via the Intel Matrix, but that defeats the purpose of the drive.

I have full use of the drive when set as a non raid drive, but the error is getting annoying, any ideas of how to get Intel Matrix storage to stop showing this drive as having a system event. (As I said, it doesnt show any system events when the drive is set to being a spare, but then I lose it as a accessible drive)

Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

1st - You should have posted this in the sager category not in hardware.

2nd - Your machine is a D901C not a D900C. You bought it from Sager Correct? The D900C is not sold in North America, the D901C is.

3rd - After you formated the new drive did you reinstall your OS and setup your RAID? I'm assuming not, since the drive is not working.

If your machine came with RAID 0 installed and you add a new drive you have to reinstall well....everything. For your needs I would suggest going RAID 5 when you add the new drive it's what I use.

    Best of luck.
