    Hello,

I'm new to the forum, so I don't know if this is the right place to post this.

I recently bought a laptop with three SATA300 (600GB) Hard Drives Configured in Raid 5. I am considering changing the configuration to Raid 0 since I am planning on using the computer mainly for Video Editing.

I am not experienced in doing this sort of changes, so if anyone could give me detailed information on how to configure the hard drives from Raid 5 to Raid 0, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance!!

You can change the raid type in the raid manager. All you have to do is press tab, after the bios loads to enter the manager. You just have to delete the array, and select the three drives and put them in a raid 0 array, and then hit create array.
Then obviously you have to reinstall the operating system, and then your good to go.
