I wanna know if Dell XPS L501x NoteBook can be upgrade with this Ram Type "KingSton HyperX" (KHX1600C9S3K2/8GX)
Kingston Technology Company - Kingston Memory Search - Search Results for: KHX1600C9S3K2/8GX

and it will be compatible perfectly with the notebook or not ?
    ..., Is This would be given a difference between 1333(old) & 1600(new) ?

You won't notice a difference between what you have and what you linked.

1600 MHz SODIMMs will downclock to 1333 MHz because those are the limits of the i7-740QM memory controller.

Clarksfield i7 can natively support 1333. 1600 memory will automatically downclock. As stated above, no difference.

The only gain would be if the notebook supported XMP profiles. Unless overclocking too you would benefit little if nothing just from better XMP memory profiles.

Also there is no way to know if it is 100% compatible. Especially with Hyper-X, I've seen myself several issues where you would think it was a go and not even a bios post.

Now even without XMP you may be able to use burning software to get the sticks to cas 7 or 8 but again little to no benefit at all for alot of effort.........

The upgrade your specify will work but like already stated above it will down clock to whatever the memory controller supports, in your case it being PC3-10600, otherwise known as 1333MHz effective.

Your situation is identical to that explained below except you're comparing PC3-10600 to PC3-12800, same logic applies:
Is there any logic in installing PC3-10600-DDR3 if my laptop stated support for PC3-8500 DDR3?
