Too bad it doesn't seem like anyone follows DRAM trends around here as I do. I've picked up some RAM (albeit for the desktop) recently at still-deflated prices.

Check the graph on the left - obviously a large jump in recent months.

I have noticed at certain retailers ram prices have been creeping back up in this last week. Crucial has started to carry up their prices again so if they are doing it expect others to follow suit very soon. When current stock runs out and they have to re-order they will have to re-order at the higher prices. Estimates that I read about a month ago said that the DRAM market was only supposed to be in a slump until near the end of June after that prices should begin to rise and stabilize the market. If you want RAM get it now before prices skyrocket again, I just ordered my upgrade yesterday!
