Hello, I have yet another question.

I just bought a Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 667Mhz and also a 2GB ram @ 667 from a member here, What would would be a better performance,

2.5GB of ram @533 with the T5600 or

    2GB of ram @667 with the T5600

I have 2 512 chips installed in the computer now, and when the 2GB chip arrives, i will then take out one of the 512 chips, and put in the 2GB one..

    Thanks.

for every day preformance? nothing it doesn't matter..

for photoshop, 2.5 > 2.0... the size is "Generally" more important than speed.

Speed makes no difference at all, in this case size is more important ;)

Really then, So i should just keep a 512 stick in there, and in the other slot, put in the 2 gig chip. The 512 stick is Hyundai Electronics - Hynix PC24200 533. The 2 gig chip is Kingston HyperX 667. I guess that would fall back to 533.

So 2.5GB running at 533 is better then 2GB running at 667. The CPU is also 667.

    Thanks again!!

    Hynix ram does overclock well.

It would be easy to flash it to 667mhz with thaiphoon burner.
I can help you with that if you want.

Both my sticks of 512mb ram @533mhz got to 667mhz (one of them even went all the way to 730mhz).
