Each memory slot can hold SDRAM, PC133 with a maximum of 256MB per slot.*
-Then it also states that..
So my conflict is that one part of the scan says it can hold 1024MB, but then it says each slot can only hold 256MB...So how am I supposed to hold 1GB ram if I can only hold 256MB per slot?

You can put in 2x512MB. Crucial's scan screwed up there.

The T23 user manual claims that the maximum memory is 1024MB...

It says it can only hold 256mb on the left side of the screen once the scan is done, but anyways..is this the right type of ram:
