    Hi,

My Dad has a Compaq Presario 2200 (w/ a 15" XGA Monitor, a Celeron 1.4. Ghz CPU, 256 Ram, Intel Chipset...). I have a spare Ram stick labeled Kingston KVR333X64C25/256 (256MB 333Mhz DDR PC2700 Dimm CL.2.5), which was leftover from an upgrade to my desktop PC.

Now, what I need to figure out with your help is if that stick of RAM could be used on my Dad's laptop? I think it does, but I really need to be sure.

    Thanks a lot!

EDIT: D'OH!!! I opened the laptop and realized that the memory is completely different from that of a desktop!

Mods, please lock and delete this useless thread...

Cannot use desktop memory in a laptop. It is too big.
