I just purchased the dv8000t and I would like to upgrade its ram. What are the ram specifications I should look at, and what would be the best company to go with? So far I've checked out Ocz, corsair, and crucial. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Spec wise, a DDR2 667 SODIMM would be the best option. DDR2 533 is also not too bad. Performance wise the 667 has a slight edge but nothing substantial. As for as brands, I would recommend Crucial. Used 'em for a long time have been very reliable.
