I have a IBM T series computer (T43). It has 512 MB of ram and integrated graphics with the Intel graphics media accelerator 900. Im trying to play counterstrike source, but have trouble with some of the more complex levels. If I upgraded the ram (ie. 1GB), would this allocate more memory for the integrated graphics and make it smoother, or is 512 sufficient.

It won't really make a difference, you will need a dedicated video card for best performance.

For games, the bottleneck is not the RAM, nor the Hard Drive, nor the Processor. The GPU is what makes games run, either well, or not at all

Hm...well, the Source engine really does need a dedicated graphics card to run at decent settings.

Yes - upgrading to 1GB will help, although playing CS still isn't going to be enjoyable. Try setting it to the lowest possible resolution and settings, you'll get smoother gameplay...it won't be pretty, but it should run.
