Okay, I'm confused here. The Mobile Intel® PM45 Express Chipset supports a 1066 mhz FSB, right? Why is there 800 mhz DDR2 in it then?
I want 1066 mhz DDR2 as I'm guessing it is a good thing for the FSB and RAM to run at the same clockspeed...?

The way chips are connected in your laptop:
CPU ===(1)=== PM45 ===(2)=== RAMs
PM45 supports max. 1066MHz in the link (1) and max. 800MHz for DDR2 RAMs in the link (2).
Even if you had a DDR2-1066, it would downclock to 800MHz...

I see, thanks. So basically a chipset limitation. Any chance link 2 will overclock nicely

Doubt you will be able to w/ the HP.
