    I have a problem.
When I burn a disc (dvd or cd) from my xps m1210 and try to read them on a desktop pc they appear blank. The info can be seen on my end though.
I'm using CDBurnerXP as software. Any suggestions appreciated.

Make sure you have set CDBrunerXP to Close the Disc or Close Session when burning - if it is not set that way it leaves the disc open for more files to be written to it and will cause it to be unreadable on other machines -

Try a different brand of disc and or/ reading them in other computers to help pin down the problem. I have had similar problems in the past with burnt discs not being readable in some other computers. If my memory is correct, that was a Matsh!ta ODD. What brand / model is yours (look in Device Manager)? Also look for any firmware updates.

Good. This seems like something that can be narrowed down with enough dilligence on my part. My model is Philips DVD+RW SDVD8820 So I'll start with the firmware and then try some new discs as suggested.
Thanks Guys..........I'll let you know what works.
