I'm having this really annoying problem with my thinkpad T22's keyboard: I plugged in a microsoft USB keyboard, and after I unplugged it, the thinkpad's keyboard was really screwy. the right side keys now think they're a numpad. My IOPJKLNM keys all turn into numbers when I try to use them... I tried uninstalling the Keyboard in the device manager, thinking that would solve it, but no. It reinstals the keyboard after booting the machine and it still malfunctions.

I'm only going to use that thinkpad for 2 more weeks while I wait for my new HP 6000t, and since it has about 10mins of battery life it's tied to the desk anyway, so I can make do with my external keyboard/monitor setup, but it's still very annoying.

    press numlock!
it's probably somewhere on the right side of your keyboard.

well now I feel dumb... of course that'll work! Why do the simple thing like press numlock when I can spend an hour messing with drivers and uninstalling my keyboard...

    Thanks
