Any of those would work i guess. Don't know what price-range you're looking for but i think the one for £79 is a good price for an external 1TB HDD. I like WD more and recommend them over maxtor, though the maxtor is only £75. -
Thanks Michele, that WD one looks good value and is cheaper than the Seagate.

I've got the Maxtor since christmas - no problems so far.
Wasn't there a "my book" Western Digital online too? I think at Staples.co.uk... -
You may be better off buying the enclosure and the hard drive separately. I know the Hitachi 7K1000 1TB drive has been going for around $80 on newegg, tigerdirect and zipzoomfly. Than get what ever enclosure you want, for say $30, and you have a great storage solution.

Misco were selling the WD Elements for a bit less, but how about this Iomega: http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-6510.aspx - £68-48
Metal case. -
I had been in the same boat as you recently, and I think the best match would be the WD 1TB caviar black along with the antec mx-1 enclosure, that's what I got and I absolutely have no complaints.

I'm using NexStar3 USB / eSATA. Been using it for around 2 years and no problem at all.
Recommend me a good priced 1 terabyte external hard drive
