I have an acer 5742z ... HM55 chipset MB and (will be) upgrading to i7 620M cpu (having just learned that evidently I cannot use a 920xm because it does not have an integrated GPU :<). I thought that with the money I saved it might be a good investment to install a small SSD for the OS and Apps (while retaining the HDD for storage) ... I believe this would mean buying a caddy to convert the optical drive ($25 on ebay is cheapest I saw ... anybody have other suggestions?)

Can anybody recommend something inexpensive ... I am thinking that since this will be a second drive 60gb is probably the best value for the money / should suffice. Thanks.
