It's thanksgiving again and time for me to get a new external HDD.

This year I was looking in the 1TB range and newegg has some really good offers in case anyone else was looking. These are 1TB OEM Internal HDDs:

WD CAVIAR GREEN 99.99, Free shipping
Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 119.99-30.00 MIR , Free Shipping
    SEAGATE 7200.11 99.99, Free Shipping

I was leaning towards the WD GREEN since I read about problems with the firmware on Seagate 7200.11 series, and I don't have any personal experience with HITACHI on longevity.

My real question is if anyone has any suggestions on a good, yet cheap (sub $40 after shipping) external enclosure with which they have had good experiences. (Must have eSATA)

I have an old Rosewill RX-353 and it has been fickle, where at times it won't power on my drive and then works fine the next day. I don't want to have to guess if my drive will turn on today, but don't want to pay out the window for an enclosure.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
