This is not a Dell-only issue, but for the current problem, my dell inspiron 6000 screen is heating up under the logo. VERY hot.

But when I look online to find an inverter, all the "good"ish prices I find are from places that seem to have garnered a number of "SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!" style complaints.

Where is your favorite place? THANKS!

Just buy from eBay... if the part doesn't work, demand a refund. If the seller doesn't refund you, file a claim and Paypal will almost always resolve in the seller's favor. Been doing this for years and I've never had a problem.

Okidoki. Bought the $1.99 one with $1.99 shipping. The seller has a great track record, so heck. I'll report back here with the results.

At this price, I'm half expecting something to blow up the moment I drop this thing in.
