My son's Dell Studio 14Z had a cracked display; I ordered a replacement from an online "company" that I think is one guy in his apartment in NYC. I installed it and buttoned up the laptop, but it didn't light up or do anything when I turned it on. Checking the numbers, it was apparently not the identical screen, so I'm returning it.
I want to try again with a more reliable vendor - anyone have any recommendations?

    thanks

I've bought around 30 screens from eBay, and only like 2 have been bad. All I had to do was send them back and get a new one.
