    I was wondering if its possible for me to upgrade from pentium m to core 2 duo processor of my laptop.

    you may want to consider adding more info to your posts in the future for questions like this; for example, what make/model of notebook you are talking about

    regardless, it's highly unlikely as it's dependent on you replacing the motherboard if in fact you can secure one that fits your notebook that will accept a C2D

    I am using the fujitsu siemens amilo m1437G notebook and it has a pentium m 750 processor and i think intel's 915PM Express chpset .

    Based on the chipset you have, you will not be able to upgrade your proc. To do so requires a 945 chipset.

    As above, it won't work. The i915 can't support Core Duos and Core 2 Duos. They also use a different socket (both 479 pins, but the pins are arranged differently).
