I have an 1830T and am wondering if Acer ever publishes a remair/manitenance manual for their computers. I have seen here an HP maintenance manual so I know some manufacturers do publish them. What is the chance of getting a pdf file for the Acer 1830T? Please and thank you.

Hrm well I'm logged into my workplace Acer ASP login, and no service manuals there. You may have to email Acer, but most Acers are very easy to service minus the super old ones (yours is brand new?)

Yes mine is new, I was looking for info on taking it apart. Not a need, just an interest. I have upgraded the memory and wifi card and next is an SSD but if I ever have to replace the screen or keyboard I sould like to have some info on that.

Acer keyboards (island style) are a breeze to replace...with a small blunt tool, you can take it off in 30 seconds or less, and same with installing a new keyboard.

Screens, on the other hand...tend to be tricky (with all the brackets and obscure screws and tapes, etc).

As stated below, most Acer/Gateway/eMachines either have a thin power connector strip which requires screws from the bottom of the chassis to be removed or they have tabs, with a flathead screwdriver it can easily be removed.

Acer screens are even easier. Most are 4-8 screws in the LCD bezel (you have to remove those little rubber covers). Now be careful as most Acers have plastic hinge caps that EASILY break if you aren't careful. Then apply force to remove the bezel (sometimes there is double sided tape). Then usually 4 screws holding the hinge to the brackets, 4-8 screws for the L/R LCD bracket and the LCD connector and voila Acer LCD panel.
