    Hello,

Here is my situation : I have a sony viao model SVS1311C5E with a screen problem (backlight doesn't work, I guess a vaio logo at boot but it's black). My vaio works with exernal screen.
I open it to remove the defect screen and I ordered a new screen for this model, but when I receive my new screen, I connected it and the new screen is not recognized. The connector is the same, the model id of the screen is the same ( B133XW03 v.1) but It's not recognized. When I put the old one, there's a problem of blacklight but it's recognized. Have you an idea that explain the problem with the new screen. The only diffrence is the H/W ID. Old is H/W 5A and new is H/W 0D.
Still no support with Sony in Europe :-(

    best
