    Replace Dual CCFL screen with Single CCFL screen

    I have a sony vgn-ar31m which contains a broken 17 inch screen with two CCFL's. Can i replace it with a screen with only one CCFL, or will there be problems?

    might need to replace the backlight inverter too.

    Did that model of machine ever actually come with a single-ccfl screen?
